I found this lovely shelf at the thrift store.
(Yes, it's upside down)Do I need another shelf? Nooooo
So with the help of hubby and a hammer,
to remove the shelf part,
I have a neat little architectural piece
to hang above a door.(Some sanding & paint touch-up was required)

Have you ever seen "The Breakup" with Jennifer Anniston? There is a piece of art that she sells and this reminds me of it. If you haven't seen it you should b/c it's a cute movie! Your so creative!
That looks really really good!
Joy,
It looks perfect up there. I was going to say...you didn't have to pull out the paint for this one?? That would be amazing. No luck at my DT for the little labels. I'll have to check around a bit more. Thanks for the tip, though!

You have SUCH great ideas! I'm a "tweaker" too. My problem is I go on your blog and see how cute you do your decor and I want to change everything to make it more like yours :) ! Thanks for the inspiration!
Great idea! I bought another shelf but it still siets in the trunk of my car. I just can't let my hubby see I bought another shelf! Ha, ha. I'll wait til he goes on errands or something and sneak it in.
