Thrift Store Ventures

"My" thrift store has been a bit boring lately, but look at the treasures I've found as I've ventured into the thrift stores of nearby cities.Am I the only one who wonders why people give away cloches and ironstone?
I can't figure out why, but I'm sure glad they do!

I know...but I gave one to a girlfriend once for a gift and I had to tell her what to do with it! They must not know either!!

Joy...I have always wondered why people give up such good things to goodwill and thrift stores!
But I am sure glad that they do!

Wow I can't believe those lucky finds. I'd like to find a new cloche let alone a used one for a good price.

I'm on the hunt for a cloche, and I'm bound and determined to find one at a thrift store!

I never find great things like that. But I am small-town Utah so there are not as many options.

All I can say is WOW! Wish I had some of those finds. The best I could do was a .99 Scrabble game and some vintage glass ornaments. Jackie

You are one lucky lady. I see ironstone all the time, but I have NEVER seen a cloche in any of the thrift stores I frequent.

I think it's time for me to go back to the Thrift Store...just maybe.......

They obviously don't see the potential in those things like you do! Oh well, their loss is your wonderful gain!

Love your treasures. I wish people around here DID give away cloches and ironstone. (Maybe everybody in my neck of the woods is into thrift store treasure-hunting like me). I still keep my eyes open... hoping.
