I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.
"The more you trust and rely upon the Spirit, the greater your capacity to create." ---Dieter F. Uchtdorf

how cute is that! I'm going to give it a try this weekend, don't have a little ones around anymore but I can always put it in the memory for a grandbaby.
Hi Joy, I'm happy to see you blogging again. I emailed you soon after your husband's passing. I'm the one who lost her husband and son several years ago, in the same year. Soon after they died someone gave us the book, 'The Message' by Lance Richardson. It was the one book that helped our family the very most (and we read A LOT). You can order it on Amazon or get it at Deseret Book. But be sure you have the right author because there are many books with that title. It brought us the most peace after we lost them. It's been nine years and a few weeks ago I blogged about finally remarrying last month. I wasn't sure I ever would, but everything fell into place this past Spring and Summer. A mutual friend introduced us. I was always sure it would happen that way if it was suppose to. Take good care and enjoy the holidays with your family. Mary Lou
