A View Of Spring

Can you believe that the weatherman is predicting snow showers over the next few days?!? I'm tired of seeing a dreary view out my window!
So I gathered all my pretty clear vases and lined my kitchen window sill. I added moss and faux bulbs.
Then, just for fun, and a punch of color, I added a vibrant red vase with a real flower. Now, when I look out my window, there is a view of spring. You could use real bulbs (even the dollar store sells them right now). If you're too impatient to wait for them to grow, make paper leaves and glue them onto the bulb. Or substitute speckled blue &/or brown eggs for your view of Spring.

  5. Such a precious idea...I am almost afraid to mention that, out here in West Texas, we had 88 degrees yesterday and I am seeing little blooms everywhere. Bad part, tho...in the spring, we have terrible sand storms...so...I don't like spring very much..but sure love summer/

We have had 70's+ for a week in Denver and it beats a record of 137 years. Now we're expecting rain/snow this weekend, ugh!

I too live where they are calling for snow this weekend but I'm not going to let it get to me, darn it. Spring is so right around the corner, I just know it.

  18. I love your "fake" bulbs on the windowsill. That is so adorable. This is the only house I have ever had that does not have a kitchen window! I will just enjoy yours from afar!
