Eggs-ellent Idea

I saw this idea on a local TV show
and immediately thought,

"Why didn't I think of that!"
Just because I didn't think of it
doesn't mean I can't share it with you.
Although I really should have thought of it
because it involves eggs and
black spray paint.
Don't do this with boiled eggs you'll eat.
Use wood, or ceramic eggs,
or hollowed out real eggs.

There is only one thing better
than a spray painted black egg . . .

a spray painted black chalkboard egg!If you don't like them in black,
chalkboard paint can be tinted almost any color.
Wouldn't these be wonderful
for place settings at Easter dinner?
Now, you're probably saying,
"Why didn't I think of that!"

  10. I'm not sure about black eggs, but they do look rather elegant in the silver basket. Good idea to copy - why didn't I think of that? Sally

  20. I thought you must live far away, but this was on a show I watched recently too. . . so my question is, (well, if you could tell me) the name of the grocery store that carries those cardboard boxes you posted about earlier??

  28. Cute, cute, cute!!!! I bought a dozen paper mache eggs yesterday at Hobby Lobby -- on sale 1/2 off -- and just finished the project for my Easter table. I think I will put the colored chalk out on the table so we all can doodle while we sit and talk after we eat. Thanks for passing on this idea.
