  1. Amen.

My brother in law is going to Iraq later this year for his second round in the Middle East during this war (he also served during the first Gulf war).

Hubby's dad served in the Korean War. We are proudly supportive of our veterans.

  2. Mmm. This post reminded me to be thankful and appreciative. Because of the MANY who have served and given their lives, I feel free to enjoy this day! Oh yes, and please know you're invited to come by Field Lily anytime. Blessings!

  3. What a great post. Thanks for putting this up. My dh is in the Army (we live in Germany) and he is touring the battle fields of Verdun, France (WWI) and Bastogne, Belgium (WWII) this weekend. On Monday we're all going to the American military cemetery in Lorraine, France.
We should be thankful to everyone who served, past and present.
