I have already declared my love of corbels, so you won't be surprised to know that when I saw these cuties on the bottom shelf at the thrift store I had to restrain myself from running full speed to swoop them up.
Once home, I searched until I found the perfect place for them. Don't they look right at home nestled up in the corners of the ingress between our family room and kitchen?Joy
They look perfect in their new home ~ they were ment to be in your home!

Wow this post came at the PERFECT time! I just found two corbels this week at the local goodwill and have been contemplating where I want to put them in my home, but now I know they have to go between our dining room and living room like yours! It is the perfect thing to spruce it up.
ReplyDeleteTHanks for posting!
I love corbels too, and I'd probably buy them without knowing at the time where I'd put them, but I would definitely find some place to use them!
ReplyDeleteAhhh...I am so inspired. I am now looking for corbels of my own!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThey look gorgeous!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a really neat idea! They look great!!!
ReplyDeleteVisting form Nesting Place, I love the look... In fact, I had found a pair earlier this year (at a thrift store 1.99 each) and had not decided to do with them yet. .. well, now I do... I have the same type wall set up going into our dining room ... once they get a paint job they will be hanging there.
ReplyDeleteI will come back and visit once I have the project done.
Thanks for the idea, I would never have thought of using them in that way!! :)
