Even though the holidays are over I kept out my silver mercury glass. Then I added a few flakes and some faux orchids to make my mantle look perfect for the snowy month of January.
It does look perfect for January, Joy! At least from where I'm sitting - with 17 inches of snow out my windows! I think the mercury glass is so pretty, I'd probably have it out all year long.
Looks great. I love snowflakes. I scored some mecury glass candleholders on Craig's List for $5.00 for a set. Love yours. http://dandelionsanddustbunnies.blogspot.com/2011/01/mercury-glass-candle-holders.html
I am keeping silver and snowflakes going, too--great minds think alike! It helps the house to not look so empty after all the Christmas stuff is put away.
I am truly humbled and thrilled that you read and comment on my blog. If you have a question for me, please feel free to email me. Thank you so very much for inspiring me to be more creative!
That is so beautiful. I love white with silver anywhere.

Looks very pretty! By the time I get around to decorating for winter, January will be over. Oh well. :)
