My Neighbors Might Wonder

I'm sure that if my neighbors looked into
my home in the evening
they would stop and take a second look.
They might be puzzled or bewildered.
They might wonder if I had lost my sense of style.
Wouldn't you if you saw such a sight?
It's just my way of trying to decide
which style of shade I like most for my thrifted,
awesome, oversize lamps.
Tell me, which style do you like most?

    Love the tall one! The lamps are already dramatic... so they need a dramatic shade.

    I think it depends on the WHOLE space they are in. I tend to like the shorter one.

    what a fantastic find! If you are going 'dramatic' then go for the one on the right. either way you can't go wrong!

    I always say "Go big or go home" - but this time I like the one on the left :) But I agree, either way you can't go wrong!

    The shorter one, definitely. The pleated shade reminds of something from the 70s. And, not in a good way!
