Heads Up

The trend this year seems to be skulls of glitter.
I had this little skull in the bottom of my Halloween box. He was calling for a glittery makeover.
However, I didn't feel like cleaning up glitter
for days (or years) to come.
So I gave him a coat of sterling silver spray paint.
Once the paint was dry,
I coated him with silver glitter spray.
Now he looks like a new man!
He has the look of glitter without all the mess.

  3. Oooh spooky! I love the glitter too but I'm initimiated by the mess. I invision three sets of little hands getting into it without me knowing and it literally being everywhere! The silver spray paint is a great alternative.

  8. I like that much more than glitter. I hate cleaning up glitter and seeing speks of it on my husband's face and clothes because something touched something with glitter on it. It NEVER goes away! Great Job!

  9. Hi Joy! Almost makes me want to get my decorations out! I used to do Halloween but not this year! Love it in the urn, something different from pumpkins. And I agree about glitter all over the place; been there done that, I still sparkle from 5yrs ago!lol What's next!????? Can't wait! Have a great day - Jeannette

  14. Here's an idea for you: get a small fake mouse and have the mouse coming out of the eye socket. That will add some more Halloween scare!
