A few years ago I found this faux fireplace at the thrift store. It has been such a fun piece of "furniture". It stood in our living room for a long time, which confused people because they would see it in one spot in the room and the next time they visited it would be on another wall. It's also been in the downstairs hall and in our master bedroom. I've used it several times to decorate for weddings and church functions. It's amazing how even a faux fireplace can give a room a lot of ambience.
What a cute idea...
ReplyDeleteIm in love with it! Meme
ReplyDeleteI want a fireplace so bad...Not really for the fire but for the sight...Maybe I should check into one of these!

That's hysterical that it does cameo's all over the house. One day when we're solvent and not renters we'll have to get one of these.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a cool peice of furniture!
ReplyDeleteWhen we bought our house, we got two beautiful faux fireplaces with it. They really are a wonderful accent. One actually sits on a hearth and the other is a corner fireplace, so we're kind of limited in moving them. But they aer so lovely...especially at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThat is a gorgeous mantel. I love all the detail!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious that you move it around and people are confused! ha ha
ReplyDeleteI've never even seen one of these. Brilliant it is!
I love the vision of a traveling fireplace!
ReplyDeleteI've been on the hunt for one of these forever! One day I'll find my treasure!
ReplyDeleteYours is beautiful!
Ooooh! I want one! Just something else to add to my list. LOL We don't have a fireplace in our home (they were going to take away a bank of windows to put one in and I said no thanks), so it would be nice to have something "fake" like that. It also would solve the Christmas stocking dilemma.
ReplyDeleteThat's the prettiest faux fireplace I've ever seen!
ReplyDeleteYou find the best things. Mimi
ReplyDeleteThat would be fun to have. I didn't realize you could buy something like that. Good to know.
