I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.

Do you remember months ago when I wallpapered the odd nook at the end of my downstairs hallway with aged sheet music? Every time I see it it makes me smile. The only problem is that I don't see it that often since it's downstairs at the end of the hallway. So I decided to combine that idea with this ideato make this. Now I can display an aged sheet music collage wherever I'd like. And for now I'd like it in my dining room surrounded by mercury glass and real and electric candles.
How beautiful Joy! I love your molding in your dining room. I think this is the first time I have ever left you a comment but I have followed your blog for a long time.....even before I create my own blog!
Joy.. Oh what a delightful.. and joyful idea!! Really beautifully displayed. I can hear music softly playing.. The molding caught my eye also! Warm hugs.. Loui♥
That nook in your downstairs is probably one of my favorite projects you've done. I like the new idea too. I've also followed your blog for quite a while. You have really inspired me by so many of your projects. Seeing someone else do something always gets my creative mind flowing.
As a decorater... SWEET! As a musician... EVEN SWEETER! I'm both and LOVE this. I just got all of my grandpa's old Barber Shop music, I think I'll copy :)
It's great. I would have never thought of someone wall papering with sheet music. You are extremely talented, and very creative. It was a wonderful change.

That is SO CUTE! I love it with the candles.
Great idea--I'd love it if you linked it up at my under $100 linky party.

Wow, those are very beautifully framed. I've got some old music sheets that I don't know what to do with.
Love the candles, too, btw.
