I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.
"The more you trust and rely upon the Spirit, the greater your capacity to create." ---Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Paint is really among the quickest, easiest, and least expensive ways to transform the look of what you own into what you love. Here are a few examples from my client's home.
Before: Blah CeilingAfter:WarmCeilingBefore: Boring BenchAfter:CozySeatingBefore: Noticeable DetailsAfter:Delightfully DetailedDetailsAnd my favorite paint makeover.... Before: Nice DoorAfter:GorgeousDoor!!!Are you inspired to pick up a can of paint and transform something?
It's on my list, Joy! I have plans to paint my front door from white to black. The white worked with our faux brick vinyl siding but now with the tan color we have it just disappears. I think the black will be perfect.
i have been painting for the last two days! each trip home, I assist my sis with projects she cannot do alone the hallway is now painted, along with the ceiling, all the trim and the four wooden doors opening into it..we are now going to hang photos/pictures.. "My room is being rearranged, the hutch for the TV will be spray painted white..and pictures hung in there as well.. we love working together..we both share the feeling of accomplishment..as well as coming away feeling even more inspired.. will take a few photos to post when I return home to Denver.. currently have been absorbing as much pristine, oil free beach sand and water as possible..so my posts are very full of beachyness.. beautiful post!! warm sandy hugs.. Love paint! It can transform almost anything. If it can't move paint it. Love the after door.
Ahhh, the magic of paint and a lot of hard work. It's fabulous. Love the details and your choice of paint color. Just beautiful!
The house and the front door makeovers are stunning! Yup! I'm inspired - will you come help? : )
