September Love
My favorite month of the year is September. I love this month so much that if I were in charge of making the calendar, I would make two Septembers. I enjoy the month partly because it's the month of my birth and the onset of my favorite season. It's the beginning of a new school year and when the outside temperatures begin to feel perfect.
To me September signifies a fresh start.A few years ago I joined the crowd and put up all of my fall decorations at the beginning of September. But I discovered that I prefer to ease into the season, much the way Mother Nature does, just a little at a time. This way I can savor my favorite month of the year.

That clockface is amazing!
I share your love of September, as it is my birth month also! It is such a gorgeous month. Growing up, it was the time I started getting used to the new school year and making new friends. I always had fun birthday parties planned, got to wear my new school clothes, didn't have that much homework yet, life was good! Like Christmas almost.
I wish I blogged more about my own home, you are always an inspiration!
I do love September too ~ the coming of fall, my hub's bday, the beginning of white chocolate mocha weather :). Not sure which month is my favorite ... maybe November?
February....I love all the love stuff! and it is my birth month!!
Septemember and October are my favorite months. The weather actually starts to cool at nights so we can open the windows again. I just love all the fall color tones. The smell of pumpkin and cinnamon - yum. The changing leaves. What a great time of year to enjoy.
September is my favourite month too as it heralds the beginning of warmer weather, longer days and Christmas for us folks Down Under! I kind of wish it was Fall over here nonetheless when I see these gorgeous Autumn pictures!
Best wishes,
Natasha.

I have always been in love with the fall. Loved the pictures and your fall decorations here. =O)
Hi Joy. I've been trying to do the same this year . . . easing into the season. By Sep 1st, I'd have all fall AND Halloween decor out. This year, I didn't put out any fall until last week, and I'm holding off on Halloween until Oct 1st.
As usual, your vignettes are lovely. Thanks for the continued inspiration.
wow, great decor, its simple yet its good, you have done a wonderful job running this blog with great ideas on decor and furnishings

I'd like to repeat October for four or five months until spring and then April for four or five months, lol! I don't care much for winter or summer. Too cold and too dang hot! I love all the colors of fall too and yup, you guessed it, it's my birth month!
I think I'd like to repeat August. I'm usually on vacation, you can swim and I have lots of ME time. Although I love September and October, I'm pretty busy during those months with new students getting settled.
SO lovely!
Many Blessings,
M.
hi, I've just come across your blog and I'm really enjoying thumbin' through all of your old posts :)
(so far I think the potting cabinet is my favourite project of yours...what a brilliant use of old bi-folds!)
I love September and October. I have always put up all my fall decor in September but decided to ease into it this year and it has been delightful. I agree with you too that September always feels refreshing and new...the changes of autumn are coming and you feel them in the air. So glad you are back blogging. Your blog is a fun treat for me at the end of a long day.
Love the decorative little fall accents, they always add an earthy cozy feel to a home. My double up month would be December because I just love the Christmas season and the build up to it. But then I'd jump straight into April and delete January, February, and March.
Hello, I am new to your blog. What lovely ideas and beautiful photography. I will definately visit often.
