Welcome to another edition of, "Would you buy it?!?!"
WOULD YOU BUY IT?
Would you take it home and quickly remove those flowering vines, leaving the pretty little berry vines? Would you give the pot a beautiful new coat and color of spray paint, replace the sad looking moss, then add a seasonal bow?Would you giggle with glee because,
with a little love,
someone's trash is now your treasure?

Yes I would. Now a several months back, no I would not have bought it, but with help from wonderfully creative women like yourself, I am now trying to see something beautiful, out of sometthing, well not so beautiful. :)
Nope, I would not have bought it cuz I just don't see it like you do. I love it though!!
It looks so much better! I don't know if I would have seen what it could have become though.
Love it! Trash to treasure at it's finest!
Yes, I probably would have bought it but it would still be sitting there with me thinking what am I going to do with this now to pretty it up!!
Very cute redo.
Absolutely! Ooooh, you're making me itch to go thrifting today!
WOW! That looks great.
I would have bought it, but it would probably still be with my other many finds. Patiently waiting for it to become something great.
You have such an eye to turn somthing from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan.
Thank you for sharing this with me. Now I must go out and find my own!
Janene
I'm all about trash to treasure, and your topiary is why. :)
Oh I am so glad you changed it...it looks wonderful..love the colors..I love your header and that mantel looks divine all lit up..you have a gift of decorating and making something look great again...:)
What a beautiful transformation, Joy. And just think ... you can redecorate it for Christmas and other holidays, too!
Sincerely,
Janie
Right on, Joy!
I really like the new "less country craft-more modern home spun" facelift you gave this.
I can't helps but notice you have a soft spot for symmetry and balance. I'm speaking of your blog title mantle masterpiece. I love it! But, wouldn't you believe it...I am not so much of a balancy type girl. My husband loves symmetry...so we go behind the other re-arranging the couch throw pillows to fit our "design tastes!"
It's pretty funny!!!
Joy...you've done it again! What a wonderful transformation. Just love it! I'm not sure I would've seen the potential that you did!
I love how you transform everything! Very cute!
I love it. I am headed to the eye Dr. so think I will stop by the goodwill and SA to check it out. Looks great! Jackie
I love the simplicity of it! Great thinking :) I think I would have passed it a couple of times, maybe bought it and then let it sit in my home for a couple of weeks until I "saw" the vision. You are so good to see the beauty at first sight!!
Another gem, LOVE it! When will you start decorating for Christmas? Can't wait to see the twinkle & shine!
Hugs,
Carol
Joy,
That is wonderful! But I don't know if I could have thought of doing what you did to it!Maybe one day I will be able to! Thanks for sharing. have a blessed day!
Juanita
Very cool Joy! Please stop by my blog. Thanks
Once again you are a thrifty creative recycling genius! Pam
I love it!
I look forward to you : "Would you buy it?!?!" segments
I am in a process of looking for a cone for my front door!
You inspire me!
Only YOU could see what to do with it immediately. LOVE it!
No, I would NOT get it, but I sure would now!!! It's beautiful!
cute!

big hugs!!
xoxo Britt :-)
How stinkin cute is that? So simple and so chic! You have such good eye.
What color and kind of paint did you use on the vase?
I would giggle...those are the best finds. Something wonderful and CHEAP!
That is SO funny -- I just posted about something similar I got just today! I am going to try to work some magic, we'll see!!
You amaze me! I love seeing how you work your magic. Thanks so much for inspiring me to try new things--I love your blog!!!
Sassy,
I spray painted the pot with Rustoleum espresso and then lightly sprayed over it with antique brass metallic.
As usual, gorgeous. Mimi
I love a good makeover and I love topiaries!
I got a little scared & thought the first pic was the "after". WHEW! It looks great now that you got a hold of it! I don't think I would have bought it because I am not the visionary you are...Oh, BTW, I am having a giveaway!!!
oh yes, I love that glee feeling, I do it too, the little dance cos ya got it for a few bucks,
it looks great, isn't it amazing what a little thought can do...
Sarah
I thought you were slippin' when I saw the first two pics....tee-hee. Love the makeover. Come on over and win my hand-knit scarf.

Yes. why not! ;)
Very cute!
I don't know if I would've bought it. I wish I had the ability to look at things and see how they could be fixed up. I love what you did with it!
I admire your vision! I wish I was good at seeing past the skin of things.
Yup...that's exactly what I would do. Beautiful find Joy. You are the BEST!
I liked it both ways!
You have such a good eye!
