Tip Top Topiary

Welcome to another edition of, "Would you buy it?!?!"

This little topiary stands three feet tall. It only cost two dollars. Isn't it lovely?
Notice the "life-like" flowering vines.
WOULD YOU BUY IT?
Would you take it home and quickly remove those flowering vines, leaving the pretty little berry vines? Would you give the pot a beautiful new coat and color of spray paint, replace the sad looking moss, then add a seasonal bow?
Would you giggle with glee because,
with a little love,
someone's trash is now your treasure?

Nope, I would not have bought it cuz I just don't see it like you do. I love it though!!

It looks so much better! I don't know if I would have seen what it could have become though.

I would have bought it, but it would probably still be with my other many finds. Patiently waiting for it to become something great.
You have such an eye to turn somthing from an ugly duckling into a beautiful swan.
Thank you for sharing this with me. Now I must go out and find my own!

What a beautiful transformation, Joy. And just think ... you can redecorate it for Christmas and other holidays, too!

Sincerely,

Right on, Joy!

I really like the new "less country craft-more modern home spun" facelift you gave this.

I can't helps but notice you have a soft spot for symmetry and balance. I'm speaking of your blog title mantle masterpiece. I love it! But, wouldn't you believe it...I am not so much of a balancy type girl. My husband loves symmetry...so we go behind the other re-arranging the couch throw pillows to fit our "design tastes!"

It's pretty funny!!!

Joy...you've done it again! What a wonderful transformation. Just love it! I'm not sure I would've seen the potential that you did!

I love the simplicity of it! Great thinking :) I think I would have passed it a couple of times, maybe bought it and then let it sit in my home for a couple of weeks until I "saw" the vision. You are so good to see the beauty at first sight!!

Another gem, LOVE it! When will you start decorating for Christmas? Can't wait to see the twinkle & shine!
