How sweet! Decorative, and full of memories. I also want to let you know how much I enjoy your blog. You have so many great posts, I've listed some in my Saturday Shout-Outs 2 weeks in a row. Thanks for sharing your great ideas.
they are lovely, and even more special b/c they are passed down.
Love the red and white dollar frames. Where did you find those?

I've had those frames for a few years. They came from the DT.
I thought they were perfect for Valentine's day.
Those are just precious!
Gorgeous Joy! I love those old cards...I also was lucky enough to inherit a few from Jeff's (dh)grandmother who passed this last year. They are sooo sweet..from her husband. I need to show mine as well...they remind me of a sweeter and simpler time. You always have the sweetest vignettes. cherry
Such a sweet collection.
how pretty those pics are...so simple to do and still looks so beautiful!
I never would have thought to frame valentine cards. Very good idea. Thanks.
I have been looking in thrift stores for vintage Valentines, but no luck. Yours are so cute and pretty! Those frames are really cute too, love that dollar store!
Very sweet and simple, but beautiful and a great reminder of your grandmother.
What a great and inexpensive way to decorate for the season! Thanks for sharing, can't wait to see more!
I wish I had some vintage cards from a family member but since I don't, I may buy a few and frame them like this. So pretty.
Those are great. I love how you have them framed.
LOVE THIS IDEA! HUGS FROM MAINE

Those are all beautiful! I LOVE how you have them displayed.
They look wonderful framed!! I have quite a few old valentines - you have inspired me to maybe frame a few. Thanks. Sally
Did the red and white frames come that way, or did you paint them??
I'm so happy you posted this. I found a valentine from my mother to her brother circa 1926 or so and thought I would like to frame it. Seeing yours is just the push I needed. Thank you. Mimi
REALLY love all of these ideas. I see those metal frames all the time, why didn't I ever think of painting them???? THANKS for the inspiration.
Lurker coming out of hiding here. Thank you so much for such great ideas! How do you go about painting the metal frames?
I love it. The red and white frames are really cute.
Joy,
I loved the sentiment of your beautiful Valentine decor.
They truly are to be cherished:-)
Thanks for your beauitful ideas you share with us...

man, I always forget to decorate for valentines! When we were little kids, my mom always had these HUGE V-day parties, and I looked forward to them all year, more than I did Christmas! But as an adult, I forget its coming (I guess being single has a LITTLE to do with that...more like I ignore that it's here rather than forget! hehe)
Precious!
I love your blog and read it every day. I love your header. Cute idea with the cards. I love your ideas.

Hi Joy! Vintage valentines are the best! I wish I had some! These are absolutely adorable works of art! Have a fun day - Jeannette
I like that you painted a brass frame. I see things like that and those shapely brass candlesticks so cheap at the thrift store, and have thought about attempting to paint them, but someone said the paint wouldn't stick to the metal. Did you use a specific paint/primer? Please share your advice!
Love the vintage cards!!! Cute frames. Great blog
