Hoppy Hoilday

Don't you just love holiday decorating? It's so exciting to unpack items that you haven't seen for a year. As I pull out each decoration I try to think of a new way to display it. I want my home to look different than it did the previous year. I like the challenge of changing, improving, and doing something new using the same old decorations. There's no need to buy new things every year when you can make the old items appear new.
Here's a picture of my mantle at Easter last year. This year I challenged myself to use pairs of items
in an asymmetrical
display.
This is my Easter mantle decor today.
DON'T FORGET
Today is the LAST day to enter the giveaway.

Looks great! I find it funny that you had to challenge yourself to go asymmetrical. I have to challenge myself as well - think it has something to do with being September babies? Ha!

Hi Joy! Boy your place looks lovely and I really like it. It is elegant and springy all in the same decor scheme. I always like how you decorate for the seasons anyhow! Woohoo.
Have a great day!

I always learn something from you, my new favorite teacher.

Your last years mantel has a somewhat ceiling tile thingie with Happy Easter on it? I have a tile like that, too. (Packed away...) And, I now know I can paint some words on it. How fabulous. I would have NEVER thought of that--and I love it!

This years mantel is also great, as I also have an old stained glass window--not sure what to do with--and love how you have it in front of a mirror. You are just going to transform my house without ever coming into it. Thank you!

You are changing my house one posting at a time!

Very nice. I've not even started my decorating because I'm so into my spring cleaning, refreshing and organizing. Once that is done, I'll work on decorating. Hopefully I can get to that part by next week.
Enjoy your day!

Stop by my blog for a visit. Though I am relativity new to blogging, I am loving all my new friends.

I am giving away my first EVER BLOG PRIZE.
I have a gift basket business and it is the most requested gift over the last 15 years.

From the comments I have already received, appears to be something a little different and something anyone could use.

I have been so touched by the comments that I have decided to give 2 boxes . They will be the $100 deluxe size.

I really do want to bless people!!! I want my blog to encourage others. I have decided that giving is life at its BEST. The drawing will be Saturday!

I love the change in the main blog picture. I saw that on your other blog. "your home" I loved it and just looked at it yesterday. Then BAM...it is there. Very spring feeling. Cheered up my office since it is dreary and rainy in Beglium. =)

I've always wanted to be one of those people who decorated for holidays. I love the look of your Easter decor. It's not over the top with just enough elegance.

But alas I'll just have to live vicariously through photos like yours.... because I'm lucky to even get my mantle changed for Christmas.
