I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.
"The more you trust and rely upon the Spirit, the greater your capacity to create." ---Dieter F. Uchtdorf
You're welcome to copy my ideas.
If one of my ideas has inspired you, I'd love for you to leave me a note so I can enjoy seeing your project.
But please don't copy my photos without first asking my permission.
Thanks!
No, it doesn't involve a trip to Paris---- although wouldn't that be divine! I do think that I may put on a little French music while we add a little of thisto this. And while I do a bit of this. Then I will be using these to finish it off. What are your weekend plans?
The good part about having only one car to share with hubs is that he gets to drive the car to work on Saturday, and I have an excuse not to leave the house. "oh! I'd love to go (insert boring plan here) but I can't, James has the car."
LOL! I can't wait to see what you get done! I imagine I'll find some way to amuse myself with a glue gun.
Oooh, exciting! I can't wait to see the finished product. I'm hoping to finish the final leg of my bathroom makeover marathon. Hopefully I'll have something to show Monday.
No plans here! It looks like you are heading for some shelves and organizing! Are those heavy duty cardboard totes? they look so sturdy! A place for all your seasonal goodies? I can't wait to see!
I am planning on working here at the office on sat for a few hours, packing for the move, spending time with a friend visiting from boston and getting a little relaxation in. whew!!
BIG EXCITING PLANS HERE IN HOUSTON! WOOHOO...I'm going to weed as many flower beds as I can before I completely am rendered prone on my back from too much strenuous work. My windows need a good cleaning but I don't know if I will be THAT industrious!
Looks like you have a fun weekend planned! My two and a half year old niece is coming to stay the weekend with us. I'm really excited about spoiling her!!
My plans this weekend is to just enjoy the time I have with my family and putt around the house! Looking forward to seeing your finished project! Have a fun weekend~Smiles~Tam!
I plan to plant lettuce mix outdoors in my new square foot bed, cut out a monogram for one of my silver trays and go to HD to pick out a new floor for my living room! Wonderful, busy weekend ahead! I can't wait to see what those bins become in your talented hands.....
Hi Joy, Now that I've composed myself and removed all of the drool from my keyboard from reading your awesome blog, I can comment with some dignity! HA!! Your home oozes style like nothing I have ever seen. You really should have your own show on HGTV! My weekend project is remodeling the mudroom, although I should be honest and say, it's my DH's weekend project. Stay tuned to my blog for the reveal!!!

Love your blog! My weekend plans include getting projects ready for April's trade days!
Hoping to paint an item or two, but I haven't checked the weather. Also, I have a table skirt sewing project that is long overdue.
