I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.

In years past, decorating for the holidays meant removing all of my regular pretties to set up entire holiday vignettes. This year I've changed things up a bit. I've decided to save myself some time and energy when it comes to decorating so that I have more time and energy for other projects. I just nestled many of my Easter decorations into the existing decor. I like the way it has come together. It's a little more subtle---not a holiday explosion. Okay, it probably still looks like a holiday explosion to you, but to me it's hoilday decorations with less stress.
I'm right there with ya Joy - making things easier has been my mantra this year. I say we can have our cake and eat it too! Your Spring decor looks just lovely!
You inspire in so many ways...Right now the only thing indicating Easter's on its way at my house are the plastic eggs my son likes to hide and leave scattered all over the house. Does that count as decor?
I am totally going to use your idea of making things more simple. I love, love, love the egg tree in the cute pot-did you make that? If so, did you do a tutorial-I need one of those trees!
I think it looks great! I have done the same thing this year - instead of putting it all together for a huge presentation, I put just one or two items together in lots of different places.
I know I should be commenting on the Easter decor...and it looks so cute but, let's talk about me!
Like, the first pic has familia 1979. What does the 1979 mean? The time you were born? The time you got married? Had a child? I just love it. And, I never thought to put the two burlap pieces together and it looks so good.
