I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.

You know of my love for knobs, so you can imagine my delight when I found this little cutie.I was also delighted to find this little wooden box at the thrift store. Sure I could have built one, but finding one for a dollar is always exciting. As you can see, I painted it the slightest shade of blue and did some instant aging with sandpaper and stain. With the addition of the cute little knob, I have a simply pretty storage solution for those dryer sheets.
Ack! Too cute! I wish I could decorate my laundry room - it's in an unfinished basement and I call it the black hole - not a very inspiring place to be!
Please tell me you got both at Hobby Lobby or some other such chain! Your box is *perfect* for the dryer sheets... I think all of your readers want one now, too!
O, Joy...you just blow my mind with all the cutie things you come up with. NOW, I have an oblong knob that says SNACKS...whatever would you do with one like it? I never can think of such cute things as you!! I love your little box and knob.. xo bj
Will they loose their yummy smell? Well I guess having a large family you go through them quicker than myself and my hubby do. That is sooooo adorable. What a great idea, I just would worry about my sheets um well drying up and not smelling. A box for a buck. Man you are a shopping pro.

I love that knob! It's even better attached to the box.
Perfectly adorable, I do have to say! Now if I only used dryer sheets...
Very cute! I really like having things that are functional and beautiful at the same time.
I like the wash finish on the box too. Staci
