I'm putting some finishing touches on my
Fourth of July decorations.
I'm using all of the same old stuff, but trying to display it a bit differently.
In case you don't remember my
patriotic projects from last year,
here's a little reminder.
I made this using a flag and an old window. This flag was made from scrap wood and beadboard.

Love the flags. I worked on one myself yesterday. I absolutely love it and will be posting it soon.
I love the flag in the window,, how creative!
I've been so caught up with finishing up our addition, that decorating for the 4th (and the cute projects I wanted to make!) has almost slipped me by. I think I'll spend naptime today putting out the paltry few decorations I have.

LOVE all the red, white and blue!! How did you get that little 'J' by your blog name, it is so cute!?
Joy, I am putting together a post on what to do with old windows. Is it okay if I link up your flag window project? It's one of my favorites.
Wow pretty! I love Americana.
All the best,
Allison
First time commenter here--LOVE the blog. I love to decorate seasonally (but with 5 small children, sometimes my efforts are a bit lacking, lol)...
I especially loved seeing the collection of pottery on the shelves...the green in particular--is it mostly Haeger? I've got a collection I started more than 15 yrs ago, on top of my entertainment center...
And I've tried to collect the white, but its actually somewhat harder to find...being a neutral, I'm sure it gets cherry picked early on in the thrift stores...
But wonderful post, and I very much look forward to seeing what else you put up!
