I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.

My daughter treated me to a bus ride up to New York city for a weekend visit. We stayed with a really cute and gracious couple who live there, which was nice because they knew the area and could help us find great ways to spend our time. We spent much of Saturday shopping flea markets. We had so much fun! It was part of a perfect day in the big city. We went to one market that's housed in an old parking garage. Oh there were so many things that I would have loved to take home, but I resisted. We also shopped at the Hell's Kitchen flea market. I did find a little something there that I couldn't resist. This cute little suitcase.Isn't it the perfect topper for my stack?
I love time with my daughters (I have 4) My oldest that doesn't live at home was here all weekend. The men backpacked and us girls had a wonderful girls weekend!! Glad you had a wonderful time too :)
Glad you had a great time. I love your suitcases. I found one this summer at a yard sale for under a dollar, I think, and hope to add more. Such great storage potential for crafting odds and ends.

OH WOW! What wonderful daughters you have. I've always wanted to visit to New York. I think the fun would never end. Always something to see, do, and look at.

What a fun trip! I bet those NYC flea markets were the best!
I think you're gonna have to start up another stack of cute suitcases in another room. You've hit the ceiling!

OH, my two favorties -- thrifting and NYC! I've never done that there, I couldn't ever fit it all in the plane back home! :)
lets hope you're not around those suitcases when there is a earthquake
I am off to NY next week. Could I get the address of that garage flea market? Thanks.
My best, Lynn
