This year I added the haunted castle that I bought at the thrift store months ago for two dollars. But now that I've looked at the last two years decorations, I remember using those branchy looking things. I think I need to go into my "inventory room" and find where I put those. Aren't old photos wonderful?

I think your mantle is so cool! I love visiting your blog. I actually used your previous tutorial for my "Activity Days" lesson and instead of writing down spooky words I had the girls write down their blessings. My decorating has really evolved over the years. Now instead of just pumpkins and leaves I am actually using scary things to. I just bought a haunted house and a crow. I love your mantle ever year. Great inspiration.

MY FAMILY ROOM PAINT WAS ACTUALLY TWO MISTINTS FROM HOME DEPOT THAT I MIXED TOGETHER.
BEHR'S SLY FOX(S-H-160)IS A VERY CLOSE LIKENESS TO THE COLOR. IT'S A BROWNISH RED, BOLD BUT NOT OVERPOWERING.
I like 2007's the best. I don't know what those things are on the wall, but they are awesome, as is your paint color...very inviting!
