Finally

I did promise a post yesterday, but we had a doctor appointment to remove stitches from the surgery on #3's femur (he had a titanium rod placed in his leg). We received news that he won't be leaving for a few weeks---for his own safety. We were disappointed, but we know it's for the best. And then, with all the chaos that has been our life, I misplaced my camera cord. It's been found. Now, finally, I think I'm able to get back to you. Thanks again for being so patient.

One of the delights of the season for me is to walk into each room in the early hours of dawn and flick the switch to
light up the Christmas tree.
There is something so magical about bringing
the light of Christmas into a room,
especially at that time of day.
I go from room to room lighting each tree.

The Living Room Tree

The Computer Room Tree

The Family Room Tree

The Tree in our Master Bedroom

I have a supply of these little helpers.
( Found in most stores where extension cords are sold).
You simply plug them into the outlet and then plug the Christmas lights into the switched plug. It's so handy to simply use a switch instead of plugging and unplugging every morning and night.
It really is fun to control the lighting magic with
just the flick of a switch.

Absolutely Beautiful!!
I am barely motivated to put up one tree, but I LOVE all your trees. Feel free to come to my house and put up some trees for me. I would love it, if "I" didn't have to be the one to do it!

I love all of your trees! I never would have thought of putting a tree in my computer room/office, but I really should. I telecommute and I'm in there all day so why not! :)

I'm so glad he's doing better. And I'm happy to hear that he's able to delay leaving by just a few weeks! What a miracle that he has healed so quickly! But how good it will be for him to be completely solid before he leaves to serve. I know you're proud of him.

Your trees are just beautiful. Thank you for sharing them with us!

Love the switch idea! I could use that. I'm the opposite of you ~ I go around at dusk and plug my trees in. Love your bedroom one, I may have to think about doing that next year!

I love the two neutral trees, the one with the silvery birds and pinecones, and the one with the natural pinecones, so beautiful!
At my job we have several trees and they have cords that have buttons on them so you just walk by and step on the button to turn then on and off, I want then in my house!

I LOVE all of your beautiful trees! I love just sitting in the room with my Christmas lights on....it just seems so magical.

I'm so glad your son is healing quickly. I'm sure he is anxious to get on his journey but he definitely needs to TOTALLY get healed.

Hope you are having a wonderful evening.♥

Wow, how awesome to bring the magic of Christmas into every room! I couldn't help but notice the neat grouping of antique doorknobs on the family room wall. I love the way you have them arranged together. I'm glad your son is better. Even though he is disappointed, it's probably for the best that he doesn't ship out until he's 100%. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

Beautiful trees. I hope your son is feeling better. I know he must be disappointed to have to wait a bit but if it's for his own safety and security then it's all for the best. The work will still be there for him when he gets there :) Cindy
