I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.
"The more you trust and rely upon the Spirit, the greater your capacity to create." ---Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Thanks!
I love these pictures! I too, like to decorate for 'winter'.My favorite piece is a picture that my son drew in kindergarten...of 4 snowmen or should I say a mommy, daddy, brother, sister snowmen complete w/falling snowflakes. I framed it and it's out all winter long. (He's 13 now!)
You don't know me, but I found your blog from another one, and love to follow your ideas. I love all the winter decor. I tend to just take down all of Christmas and then skip to the next holiday, but I love what you've done. Unfortunately we don't get much snow here in Seattle, but wish we did!
Another winter decorator! I do this too! I have a few firm policies in my house about "Christmas cookies" --we don't make any until after the holidays. They are "winter" cookies and all our good winter fun is in January and February. We save lots of the typical holiday rush activiites for our holiday called "Winter". Lots of paperwhites, natural elements, knitted creme mittens, faux snowballs, some bling here and there, and it lightens everything enough to give us another thing to be happy about until spring occurs in Minnesota. Your decorating looks great!
Looks so great! I love ow you can just throw things together. I get so comfortable with my displays it is hard for me to change them. I love that you change them all of the time. Love the cream dishes in the cabinet!
More wintery goodness! Please, please, please come to my house and use your decorating magic! You know how many times I've gone and looked at your previous post with all the beautiful snowflake vignettes? I've lost count! It's all so beautiful. :o)

Very Pretty! They had those big snowball candles on sale 75% off at cracker barrel last week. Wonder if they still have some?

I love the idea of decorating for winter! It is always so sad for me to take everything down after Christmas...especially the pretty sparkly things!
I just did my winter decor yesterday and today. Lots of silver and white with a smidgen of red berries tossed in for a pop of color. I love winter!
