I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.

Thanks for this, Joy! I got two beautiful silver trays at Goodwill last trip there. I quickly thought I would paint one with chalkboard paint in the center, but I admired the designs on both too much. Many agreed with me. I am looking forward to incorporating them into my decor and this picture is just lovely ~ simply elegant for sure!
Love to see what fun things you do to change things up around your home! Thanks for sharing. p.s. I have been inspired by you to collect a few more old suitcases. I had a few, and now I have them stacked in a little corner of my family room filled with old disney movies.

Winter days need a little sparkle. A silver tray does the trick.
Very nice!!! Is the door underneath a sitting table. If so, it is a genious idea. And I love the color. Green is the best!
Gorgeous!!
Is that little door your table?! Love it... and the silver tray too, makes all the difference. :)
