I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.

A great way to indicate where you live (along with your address) is to hang a huge monogram just outside your door. I purchased an big wooden letter at my local craft store for just a few dollars. To make it a more significant statement I cut a piece of beadboard and framed it with MDF strips.I spray painted the beadboard frame black and the letter got a couple of coats of heirlloom white for a nice contrast.
It's the perfect piece in the perfect spot! No wonder everybody loves a monogram.
This is such a creative and fun idea, you always keep me checking back for fun and creative ideas. I just wish I could come up with them, I see them and can never quite figure out how to put it together.
