I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.

This vignette is currently on the table in our entry to welcome family and friends. The arrangement is simply a grocery store bouquet with a few flowering tree branches from our yard tucked in.Everything else {silver, faux plant, leaf ball, books} is thrifted items.I adore how simple, thrifty items placed on a tray can look so formal and beautiful!
Beautiful! You always do vignettes just right! If you get the chance come and look at my VINTAGE bird cage and read my hilarious confession! ha! Sure to make you laugh! :)

Very pretty, Joy! I like that it is unobtrusive yet you've gotten a lot in this vignette. Love the leaf ball in the silver urn.
