Table of Contents

Look at this lovely little table!
Can you guess what it's made from?Does the hole in the bottom corner give it away? For years it served as a short, four panel door
in someone's home.
It still has the original weathered stain.
I just stained it's top to match.
Don't you think it's a-door-able?

That is a great idea for a side table. I still love your black box w/the red knob and at the big craft show I go to I am definately getting some of those beads that go around the candles....those are sooooo pretty!! I have seen them, just never bought them.....I will have them this year!!!

love the great idea! Did you connect the doors/cupboards individually, or fold them into a square?
Just a plain peice of wood and just painted them all the same color?

I guessed right! Yay. Does your kitty tend to peek inside the hole to see if anything is in there? When we were demo-ing, my cats were always peering into the holes and if big enough, they go in. Fools.
I'm sure I posted a reply about your birdie makeover. Guess it vanished into cyberspace. Anyways, I love the birds. What an awesome find. Your thrift stores seem to have a lot of great stuff.

I could use some of your expertise on something. If I post it on my blog would you mind giving me your "two cents" worth? :)

Have a great day!

Just came upon your blog through the great Susie. Just love what you are doing with your home. I like cottage style, but it doesn't fit with my home. I'll be coming to your blog for inspiration instead! I'll be back everyday. Adding you to my favorites now!

Blessings to you and yours,
Libby

Hi Joy, I'm going to take a pic of my "project" and try and get it posted. My camera and computer are no longer on speaking terms so I have to get the hubby to load pics on his and then transfer. Pain in the patootie!

I took Cass to the dentist this morning and while flipping through a magazine I saw an ad and it just "clicked". I won't keep you in total suspense till I get it posted so here's the teaser, it's a large round wooden tray in need of a makeover. My idea is a combination of the ad I saw and something YOU have. Hmmm.....what could it be?

We're headed back into the "wild" again next week..I think. I was wondering if you've heard of Cardston because it has a HUGE Mormon temple.

It most certainly is "a-door-able"! And the accessories on top are pretty cute too! Did you change your banner photo recently? I love that old door on your mantle!

I just found your blog and I am so glad I did. I love your ideas and your style of decorating. My favorite was what you did in The Corner of my Room. I love that it is in a place that the people in your home notice it the most. Thanks for the idea! I'll be checking back for sure.

What a great idea! Is the door still hinged so that the inside can be used for storage? Our Habitat for Humanity Re-Store often has just doors ... oh for a few woodworking skills!
