Isn't it a fun accent?
Although I like the rusty finish, it doesn't match
the other garden accents in my front yard.
So there's just one thing to do---
get out the spray paint!
Can you guess which color?I like it even more now!

Great changes. I am so looking forward to a Jr League Yard sale that I am going to with my daughter next weekend, hopefully to pick up some changes.
Hi Joy,
I love seeing the small do-able projects that you post! You have inspired me. I won't ever look at a box with a fish decal on it in the same way....and just because something is one color when you buy it...if you like it, then the color can be changed. You're a great teacher!
You have great taste...your porch looks wonderful!
Have a great day,
diane
Only you can make an empty frame look good...well, til now...since we'll all be copying it soon ;)
Love your new find and the paint job. What a chillaxing place to sit!
oh i love it love it love it! i think that is one of my favorite's so far of what you've done!
Hi Joy,
I saw some of those on clearance at my favorite spot HL (like those initials instead of the name...lol) and you know I had NO CLUE what to do with them...glad you showed me. I am off to HL again today.......
Your porch looks wonderful...so summery and cute!!
I agree about the change and the rest. Looks great. Excatly what store has all their garden items on clearance. You must share the news. I love those pillows, they look like they were made for the bech. I am jealous that you have a church pew. I have always wanted one. Still on the lookout at the thrift stores.
your porch looks great!
Most assuredly elegant and perfect in every way!
What a great place to getaway. Love your style!
Blessings to you and yours,
Libby
Can I come and sit on your porch? It would make me want to come and visit all the time!
So great!! Love the bouquet on the door!
Joy, just how many cans of black spray paint do you have laying about? We have a small garden centre at one of our grocery stores and they have their outdoor stuff all marked down. I saw something similar to what you bought, but not near as nice as yours. And the pot at the bottom is a neat idea. I'll bet you'll have lots of fun changing it out for the seasons. Love the bench too!
ps. I posted my newest project, finally got the DH to take my pics of the camera. I'd love to hear your suggestions. :)
Wow, I love the whole porch. The new pyramid thingy (lol) is awesome in black! love it! :)
Love the change to your front porch. I got your blog from my mom, diane. You have excellent taste. I love the church bench. Too cute! Keep inspiring us!
Love It! It looks great :)
Again, lovely as always. I like the black crisp look out there. I have been trying to work on my curb appeal of my house. I wish I had as many ideas (and space) as you do!
I love your porch and yes it says summer come sit awhile. Don't you just love to thrift shop I'm working on my porch as well

I've been eyeing that same piece at Hobby Lobby for weeks now. I kept thinking, "I can just paint it." But your visual of it is spectacular! I love how it looks on the porch. How adorable everything looks together!
What a great porch. Love the empty frame. So whimsical. Where did you get your church pew?
My church pew actually came from the church I grew up in. They replaced the old benches with upholstered ones. It was originally double that size, but my talented hubby cut it and made two from one. The other one didn't have side pieces. We gave it to a neighbor.
We've had the bench for several years! It used to be white, then I painted it black and now it's got an aged crackly look with the white showing through (Nature did it. I didn't)
The door arrangement looks great for a pop of color and I love the blank frame outdoors.
From yesterdays post I am amazed at the table. I am on the hunt for a few cabinent doors!
I also really like the numbers on the half finished re-purposed clock.
You have managed your home pretty well, It looks so beautiful.
Wow, your porch looks great. I am keeping my eye out for one of those church benches for my front porch. You see them everywhere until you need one.
Blessings~~
I purchased the same thing (for 80% off) and I plan on painting it black. It looks great on your front porch! I am working on set up a porch that is welcoming!
I love love love your porch. I have been eyeing that garden piece at my local Hobby Lobby but didn't know what I would do with it. I might just go get it tomorrow.
