Sharing the Blog Love

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU
for all of your kind and encouraging words!

The fall stuff is in the basement and
the Christmas decorations
are starting to make their appearance.
Your blog love gave me the energy I needed
to jump in and get to work.

Blogging has taught me a very important fact of life:
There are
incredibly good people
in this world!

Especially in the blog world!
I appreciate the goodness
that you so willingly share.

I've had a few requests for
inexpensive Christmas gift ideas.
I have a few to share.
But I thought it might be fun if we ALL
come up with an idea or two.
That way there will be a TON to choose from,
and we'll be able to save a lot of time
and money this year.

So start thinking now and
on Friday I'll share my list with you.
Then you can leave your ideas in the comments.
I won't include Mr. Linky on this.
I know how busy everyone is right now
and I refuse to add one more thing to your list,
like having to make or post something extra.

You could also email me your idea before Friday
at joysofhome@gmail.com

Now, I'm off to unload a few more Christmas boxes.
I promise to share some photos tomorrow.

I am not Superwoman either. In fact I am more like Popeye before the spinach! I finally feel like I got a grip on the season. I still have some harvest boxes to put away. On the today list and on to wrapping presents.

So glad you aren't superwoman! :) Makes us all feel better that you have those kind of days too.

Oh dear. I've been putting off taking my fall stuff to the basement. I've managed to take it all down but it's so sad to put it away. I just loved the fall colors and I have so many pumpkins and winter squash just waiting to be used.
Today I'll put the stuff away! Maybe I'll even bring up some Christmas stuff.

On my blog you will see my recipe for peppermint bark. It was a low cost gift that we gave a lot of our church friends because there is just too many of them to purchase gifts for.

Awww. No superwomen here so dont feel too bad. Sometimes you just need to stop and have a good cup of coco... then put your feet up. Dont worry.. it will all wait for you, smile~~

hello!

i just posted a bunch of projects that i'm going to be doing with my kids courtesy of martha stewart. they're a lot of fun and can be given as gifts, which is what i'm planning on doing. with the economy the way it is this year, i need all the help i can get.

Superwoman here. NOT. One of my favorite low cost items to decorate with at Christmas is fresh cranberries. I use them around candles and as fillers in vases, most anywhere! I just finished my kitchen island centerpiece using cranberries and rosemary. I placed a rosemary "tree" on a large crystal platter and then filled the platter with fresh cranberries. Cute, cheap and it smells wonderful!! By the way, I love reading your blog. I'm always amazed at the beautiful things you create for your home. I stand in awe of you!! Thanks so much for sharing with everyone.
