*Take eight dollar thrift store table
out of storage.
*Sand off ugly gold paint to
reveal original mahogany finish
(this should be easy since the previous owner
didn't properly prep table before spray painting).
*Leave just enough gold paint patches
to give the table an "old world" finish.

Gotta love that black paint! Looks great as usual!
Love the table. I usually just go straight for the black paint.
Your transformations always make me think-why didn't I think of that? I would have walked on by-but you make it magical! Always!
You have the world's best thrift store! I only find small decorative things at mine, which isn't bad, but I'm on the lookout for furniture I can refinish. I guess I just need to keep making the rounds. :)
They were made for each other. The trusty black paint never fails to impress.
$8.00, really? That had to be a good day. And it turned out beautiful.
Have a good day.

You always have the best thrift store finds. If I find good things here, they are always really expensive! Your table and mirror look great!
OMGoodness, that is a great table! I'm looking for something similar, and that would be perfect. Lucky you!
Black spray paint is a great plan B!
Black paint comes to the rescue again! LOVE it!♥
I love black furniture!
It looks LOVELY! Beautiful 'finish' of a plan. Even if it was plan B.
Great plan B!! I'm 'plan B-ing' it up as we speak {okay, a coat is drying} on some thrift store finds!!
And it's black!
Great job, as usual. :)

Plan B always ends up being Plan A in my experience!
I think it's just true of life to have a "Plan B"! That turned out great. Black or white paint always makes things look better!

That turned out great! I love changing things with paint too!
I've got a table that looks just like yours, now you've got me thinking...it might look great in black!
Since becoming a blogger, black spray paint has become my new best friend!
I love black furniture. I would have done the same thing :)
I love that table and mirror combo. You must be shopping in all the right places for these finds!Plus, I am in love with the pillars in your home. I wish pillars would work in our home! Did you add them yourself?
Gotta love paint! That table looks awesome!

I always love seeing your projects. The table looks great!
I can't wait until it's warm enough here to spray paint again!
WOW! LOVE IT!! :)
Plan B is good! What a great table. I often find that the metalic paint is hard to sand off, not sure why. I also love your sheet music--wonderful!
More proof that black spray paint fixes EVERYTHING!
oh - I have so many plan B's - now I just need to get around to them. :)
Your thrift store is much better than mine! I never find cute table to spray paint.
It looks like a million bucks. Mimi
