I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.

This year I'm on a quest to change up my existing decorations for little to no money. I've had these little egg candle holders for years. They're sweet, but I thought with the help of some styrofoam, moss and a hot glue gun they could become spectacular.I just glued the moss around the foam to make it look like a little nest. Then I took it one step further and plopped them on top of a candle holder. My little nested eggs now get the attention they deserve among my other Easter decor.
They look great! I enjoyed looking at your final picture. I was going through a dilemna regarding my colors and Easter Colors. I like how you've been able to keep your pretty black and cream and it still looks Easter-y...uh...is that a word? LOL!
Quick, easy and pain free way to take the old and make it new. I have come to expect nothing but greatness from your posts. I truly wish we had a dollar store/craft over here that was not in euro. But still your ideas save me money. I promise at some point to finish the projects and give you links. Have a great weekend.
