I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.
"The more you trust and rely upon the Spirit, the greater your capacity to create." ---Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Nope. I change mine so many times dh never knows what it's going to look like when he comes home. I made 100 posts today. I'm giving away lots of German goodies. Come over and enter!
You are not alone. Just when I think I have everything out, exactly where I want it. I find something I bought the year before or something that got stashed in the wrong place. So keep on layering because I will be right there with you ;o)
Nope... and sometimes I have to leave the decor up a few days after the holiday because I thought of something at the last minute and want to enjoy it a little longer.
I take pictures each year so I can remember what I did when the holiday rolls around next year. Sometimes so I can repeat OR so I can make sure to change.
If it makes you feel any better I just went to Pier 1 on my lunch hour today and bought a marked down little Easter house and pastel bottle brush tree. I plan on putting it on a glass cake pedestal when I get home!
It seems like every time I walk by something, I tweak it a little. I just get it right and it is time to take it down. Oh, well!! Have a great Easter week. Sally
I do every holiday that way...it's always a work in progress! The day the holiday is over is a relief when I finally decide I"M DONE and can put all the boxes away!

No dear, you aren't the only one. I do it. I was adding to my Halloween decorations on Halloween, and Easter's much the same way.
