I love the feeling of being home! I truly enjoy being surrounded by the people I love and the things that make me happy. I am passionate about finding joy in my home---which for me has a double meaning. My home is where I find comfort and discover who I am by using my talents and abilities.
I'm an avid thrift store shopper and collector. I love to create, re-purpose, design, re-invent and build all sorts of things.
I am passionate about helping others find the joy in their homes that I do in mine. And I believe that it doesn't take a lot of cash to do it.

While I was on an egg roll (pardon the pun), I thought I'd take some ordinary paper mache eggs and make them fancy. First I gave them a quick coat of paint, then I tore some scrap book paper into pieces and applied it using mod podge. They seemed a bit plain so I applied more mod podge and covered them with sparkling crystal glitter.
The glitter looked so pretty that I covered the remaining eggs using only sparkling silver glitter. Once dry, I placed them into a tarnished silver basket along with the chalkboard eggs.
Those are great :-) I wish I had the patience to do projects/crafts like you do! I'm too lazy I guess. You should sell your stuff on etsy.com, I know I would buy a lot from you :-)
The eggs look so dressed up and pretty. I did the same thing lat night in pastel colored scrap paper and wasn't that pleased. I agree they look beautiful. Maybe if I glitter them?? I like the chalkboard eggs also. They really are a nice statement.

They look so pretty! May try that myself.
Yep, a little paint, some paper, mod podge and a sprinkle of glitter, what more could you ask for. These are a work of art!
Thanks for sharing.
