Congratulations on your kid's accomplishment Joy! That's just great! I remember when I was in the Smithsonian Castle that I noticed the beautiful tile work on the floor. You're so right - the beauty is in the details, but not many people see it!
Beautiful photos... thanks for sharing those great details! Congrats to the graduates!!
You visited my neighborhood! I love taking photos in dc.

The architecture in Washington is quite magnificent, isn't it?
There is so much to see in D.C.! What a special reason to be there. One of my favorite memories was happening upon a Veteran's Day ceremony at Arlington that I will NEVER forget.
Congrats on the graduates! Wonderful photography.
Oh yes, DC is truly enjoyed the way you saw it - noticing the details of our capitol!
CONGRATULATIONS to the graduates!
Beautiful photos! Thanks for sharing, and congrats to your kids!
You're soooo right! The beauty IS truly in the details!
I graduated this Spring, with my college degree. It took me a while (I'm 30-something!!) but it was so worth it.
Congrats to your family!!
Congrats to the kids!!! I love the photos. You should frame them & display them in your house somewhere. I'm afraid that we miss alot of the great details of life all around us. Your post will hopefully remind us to take the time to notice these details. There is so much beauty to be seen that we miss. I know I'm notorious for missing the details. And sometimes the big stuff too.
Gorgeous!

Debbie
