One of the great things about living in an area with all four seasons is that when you take down the Christmas decorations you can redecorate with winter decor. I have a few plastic bins filled with snowflakes and snowmen that I pull out when Christmas is over. I love to pile snowflakes onto my mantles and shelves,

it is so wintery... i love the look, as always!
I haven't brought my snowmen out in Jan. for years but I LOVE your snowflakes. Everything looks so pretty against your red walls!

I LOVE all of the snowflakes on your mantle....so wintery and pretty!!! Hope you are enjoying the New Year!!♥
I love all the different shapes and sizes, Joy! Lovely display! Although, you can keep the real stuff {and take mine, too!}.
My Christmas decorations are still up because I can't figure out what to replace them with. Thank you for the snowy idea.
I love snowflakes...just not the snow (I can't drive in it) I think I need to copy you and bring the snowflakes inside :)
I've been feeling silly leaving up a few winter things... thanks for makin' me feel cool!
I do the same thing. My snowmen don't come out until after Christmas. I'm never quite ready to just "do away" with the festive feel of Christmas. PAM
Oh, I just love all your snowflake/winter vignettes!!! Like you, I live in a four-season part of the county, and usually decorate this time of year with my snowman. But the snowflakes . . . I love em!
I'm planning on copying what you've done as closely as possible! LOL I have several of the DT snowflakes you used, too.
Thanks so much for such an inspiring post.
I love the snowflakes . . . so frosty!
Joy this is perfect. Love the snowflake. You have great ideas. I always enjoy coming here to see what you are upto! Have a great day and come by for a visit if you get the chance!
Blessings,
Debbie
Oooohh...I love it! Your mantle is breathtaking! Someday I will have a mantle to decorate, I hope it has the same appeal as yours! =]
I leave my snowflakes around too. And right now I am watching real, HUGE snowflakes fall!
That is beautiful. I usually put out my Valentines decorations and some Mardi Gras goodies!
Blessings,
Lorilee
I love snowflakes...that looks great
I love the snowflakes. So pretty on the mantle.
Love your collection of snowflakes! I live in Florida and we have had unusual (record breaking) cold, so I am keeping my "snow" around until after the weekend. We bought three dimensional snowflakes that have a crystal dangling from them in dollar store this year. We loved them, looked in every store before Christmas to find more but they were sold out. Enjoy your beautiful winter mantel and snowlakes.

I love decorating with snowmen and snowflakes. I actually decorate this way for christmas and I leave all my decorations up till Feb. it's just so hard to take all those beautiful glittery snowflakes down... I have come to realize i have an addiction GLITTER!!! ughhhh
Love your beautiful snowflakes on the mantel...so pretty!
The snowflakes are gorgeous. Beautiful mantle display.
Just beautiful!
I live in South FL and I display snowmen throughout the month of January. When others come to my home and see my snowmen they always tell me Christmas is over and I say well winter isn't. It is hard living where you don't have seasons and people don't get it so it is nice to see that I am not the only one that decorates for winter.
I do the same thing. I hope you have a chance to come by and check it out. I've been enjoying your lovely blog for quite a while. It's (and you are) always inspirational.

I love your blog! Now a self admited blog addict, your's was the very first blog I drooled over and began to follow. You inspire me on so many levels.
I am wondering were you purchase the silver glittery letters I see in your decorating. I love the "snow" garland.
Thanks for the fun!

Wow Joy...I just realized your son was at my house over the holidays playing rock band with my daughter and some friends...my husband had to take a chair into the toy room for him to sit in because of his legs. I can't believe how lucky he was and how well he gets around. So happy to hear he will get to fill his mission.
I've looked through your blog and love all you great ideas...you are very talented.
