A few years ago it was black but now when I envision a makeover for thrifted items 
I see them in a shade of gray.

I love gray! I have been using a lot of white, or gray lately. I am in the process of painting my daughters room, and I think I will do a gray-green.
For the longest time I've been obsessed with gray, yellow and green
I'm thinking yellow. But I'm holding off painting walls until the spring because perhaps it's just the greyness of winter.

Gray rocks! I work as a color consultant for Benjamin Moore and every poor soul that has come to me for advice has gone away with every possible gray color chip known to man! I have just painted my living room in Ben Moore Jute (Afinity range) and it is the most beautiful gray, green, taupe color ever!
