First I gave them a quick coat of paint, then I tore some scrap book paper into pieces and applied it using mod podge.
They seemed a bit plain so I applied more mod podge and covered them with sparkling crystal glitter.

Those eggs look beautiful. But, I think anything looks better in glitter!!!!
Those are great :-) I wish I had the patience to do projects/crafts like you do! I'm too lazy I guess. You should sell your stuff on etsy.com, I know I would buy a lot from you :-)
I agree ~ much better than the pastel ones.
Wow...They are beautiful! Great job!
These turned out so pretty! Love the glitter!
I agree! Those turned out great! I've been wanting to do something different .. . if I have time I'm going to give that a try! Thank you!
The eggs look so dressed up and pretty. I did the same thing lat night in pastel colored scrap paper and wasn't that pleased. I agree they look beautiful. Maybe if I glitter them?? I like the chalkboard eggs also. They really are a nice statement.
Looks great. Good job.
Those are gorgeous. My eggs always cone out looking like some sort of modern art. :-)
Very nice! Love the black and white color scheme.
They look great! Very creative :)
All the best,
Allison
So pretty, I LOVE the glitter~
Where did you get these and how much did they cost?? A girl needs to know these things!!
Ooh, nice! I like your eggs better than the traditional pastel ones!
Great idea! I may have to copy! Hope you don't mind. :)
These are gorgeous! I am a glitter FREAK! Love it! I will sprinkle it, shake it, spray it, I would roll in it if I could get away with it!!
Happy Easter!
Lou Cinda :)

They look so pretty! May try that myself.
Yep, a little paint, some paper, mod podge and a sprinkle of glitter, what more could you ask for. These are a work of art!
Thanks for sharing.
Connie
