Inspired By Nature

I've been putting together a few vignettes inspired by the great outdoors. My dining room shelf/mantle is brimming with nests resting amongst electric candles. The apothecary jars are filled with faux nature elements.
Flowering bulbs Moss and fern fronds from the dollar store.
My foyer table displays a sweet little girl garden statue that I brought inside, along with a small birdbath filled with bleached moss, both resting on a silver tray.
With indoor displays inspired by nature, I can enjoy the beauties of springtime no matter the temperature outside. For another idea inspired by nature click here.

I love nature inspired decor. I used to try to have houseplants, but my cats always ate them. I recently decided to bring in some herbs to grow since I didn't really care if my cats ate them, and of course they haven't even touched them. :)

You are so darn good at this stuff! I love the vignette on your dining room shelf. And I'm still in love with the paint color in there...and amazed by the fact that it was oops paint. Very inspiring my dear.

You've done it once again, my dear! You can put together such beauty with common things. I love the organic monogram hanging on the mirror in the last picture. Tutorial in the future, maybe?

PAM,
THE MONOGRAM WAS MADE FROM LITTLE LEFTOVER PIECES FROM THE BOXWOOD WREATH I MADE FOR MY FRONT DOOR. THAT TUTORIAL WAS A WEEK OR SO AGO. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WAS THE SHAPE AND SIZE OF THE FRAME I TIED THE BRANCHES TO.

Joy, I have that exact same little garden statue. Her name is "Bashful!" Isn't she adorable?

I love it. Do you keep your bird nests out year round? I just put mine away after Easter, not knowing if you can still decorate them, or if its "too springy". Let me know, and I'll bring mine back out! ha

I love vignettes! You have such pretty settng -right up my alley! I have an area with large apothocary jars that have pillar candles in a pale sea foam, off white and sand tone and at the bottom are matching color marbles, sea glass and shells, surround them are some larger interesting shells, spheres, etc. I have another area with moss balls, fern, rocks and marble spheres, and eggs and nests. I'll include photos - my favorite thing is to see other's ideas - thank you BRILLIANT! Jennifer
